For hair fall and thinning.
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy uses growth factors from your own blood to support weak hair follicles. Where hair loss is advanced, a hair transplant moves healthy follicles to thinning areas.
Losing some hair every day is normal, but increased shedding, a widening parting, a receding hairline or thinning at the crown deserve attention. Common causes include stress or illness, nutritional deficiencies, thyroid and hormonal changes, scalp conditions and inherited pattern hair loss — and the right treatment depends on the cause.
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy uses a small sample of your own blood, spun to concentrate the platelets and their growth factors, which is then injected into thinning areas of the scalp to support weak follicles. It is done as a series of sessions and works best for early to moderate thinning, often alongside other treatment.
When hair loss is advanced, a hair transplant can move healthy follicles — usually from the back of the scalp — to areas that have thinned. A consultation, scalp examination and sometimes blood tests help decide which approach is right for you.
